The Influence of Internship Year on Nursing Students’ Perceived Clinical Competence: A Multi-Site Study

This study aimed to explore the level of perceived clinical competence among undergraduate nursing students. was a cross-sectional, comparative, study. Data were collected using Clinical Competence Questionnaire. Study participants included fourth year and internship students attending 1 39 public private programs in Saudi Arabia. A total 244 completed questionnaire. Students reported ability perform some skills settings under supervision. Intern had higher than ( t = 2.792, p < .01). Year education (β .148, .05) gender .190, .01) statistically significant prediction level. The facilitates translation theory into practice, which eventually may improve students’ skills.
